Is organic food the answer when it is shipped thousands of miles away? And during that trip, are not the tons of green house gasses released during transportation mooting the effect of organic farming?

Being able to eat food close to where we live seems to be the answer. This article appeared in a January, 2007 issue of the Toronto Star. Also check out a Sudbury, Ontario website which promotes the idea of a 100-mile menu.
