Twenty Years of Propaganda?

I completed the first full day of this conference. It’s been a fascinating day, with critiques of the Chomsky/Herman Propaganda model, meeting some new people and just basking in a sea of academics and media people who are passionate about justice, seeking truths and talking about ways to engage and energize people to care about what goes on around us.

It may be a mistake to say people don’t care – because most do. We are fed a bad diet of infotainment that passes as news and the spin doctors and their political masters are in charge of the messaging. So, we must keep at it – continue to write, blog, learn and remain convinced that the tide will turn…….

More later…………..
