When is murder not murder? When George Bush or the Israeli army commits it.

“At least three civilians have been killed in Israeli air raids on Gaza City while Israeli forces shot dead a leader from the Islamic Jihad group in the West Bank.”

“Major Avital Leibovich, an Israeli military spokeswoman, said the civilian’s car had been “unintentionally hit”.” (Al Jazeera.com)

Another way to describe “unintentionally hit” would at least be called manslaughter or second degree murder in Canada. There would be public outrage, commissions, and accountability. When it is anonymous civilians in a war zone, living under a brutal occupation, sanctioned by the murderous Bush regime – well then, there are different rules.

Billions in military spending to Saudi Arabia and Israel means more misery and death for Palestinian people. As Noam Chomsky said, Wanton killing of innocent civilians is terrorism, not a war against terrorism…

  1. As I note in a recent blog entry (http://blog.y-factor.net, Islam wants the Palestinian problem to continue. If Islam really cared about the refugees, they would have absorbed them into Syria, Lebanon and Egypt long ago.

Instead, the refugees provide a convenient, highly visible focal point to distract Western Diplomacy away from Islam’s worldwide quest to subjugate the world under Shari’a law.

It’s a bit disingenuous to whine about civilian casualties that inevitably result when your Qur’an foments hatred and encourages the slaughter of your adversary without mercy. Both the Qur’an and the Hadith are full of contempt for the ‘sons of monkey’s and pigs.’

A seventh century Bedouin worldview filled with hate doesn’t fit in the 21st century civilized world.

When I read the idiotic, biggoted comments of some one like Liamroberts, I wonder if there is any chance that humananity will survive, and I wonder if humanity is worthy of survival.
